A unique 18 hole course that opened in 1980, the Lakeview Course plays to par of 31-33-64, with nine par three holes, eight par four holes and a closing par five. The picturesque Detroit Lakes golf course features large greens, with traps bordering all 18 holes. The golfer is offered some spectacular views, especially from the tee area (situated at the highest point on the two courses) at the 7th hole. While the yardage may appear to be short, the course is deceptively difficult. A club house, driving range, a practice area and green are all a part of the Lakeview Complex.

Completed in 1916, the Pine to Palm Golf Course is one of Minnesota's finest resort area layouts. The rolling terrain and trees which line each fairway make the Pine to Palm Course (par is 36-35-71) a challenging test of golf. One of Minnesota's three "resort circuit" golf tournaments - the Pine to Palm - is played at Detroit Lakes each August and attracts an excellent field. Qualifying rounds are medal play, with match play following in the championship, Senior Division and numbered flights.

From the moment you set foot on Wildflower, you'll realize this is a special place to play the game of golf. Designed by Joel Goldstrand, one of the premier golf course architects in the Midwest, the course's distinctive "Prairie Links" design is unique in Minnesota. Players may see the open prairie as a chance to “let'r fly”, but beware of Wildflower's 86 bunkers and vast expanses of prairie grass, which are difficult challenges at best. A course rating of 74.2 and a Slope rating of 139 from the "tips" ranks Wildflower among the State's most challenging courses. Designed with four sets of bent grass tees, the course promises all levels a truly enjoyable experience.

Perham Lakeside Country Club consists of three nine-hole courses, Maple, Oak, and Pine, each with distinctive and challenging holes that offer something for players of all skill levels. The courses were built on hilly terrain, so you can expect many changes in elevation and uneven lies. The greens are fast, and the fairways are narrow. There are many trees that can alter your shots as well as numerous sand bunkers incorporated into the course's design. The signature hole is the #2 on the Oak course, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a lake to a peninsula green.

Lida Greens Golf Course 18.8 miles

Lida Greens Golf Course was designed and built by Jack Hilber, a member of the North Dakota Golf Hall of Fame. The course is located 4 miles east of Pelican Rapids, MN on the Southwest Shore of Lake Lida. Ther nine hole executive course was built to take advantage of the natural lay and hazards of the land and several greens and tees provide a spectacular view of Lake Lida. Open for golf seven days a week from sunup to sundown except during lightning conditions. Season opens in early May and ends in mid October.

This great nine hole course is well maintained and has excellent greens. Constructed over rolling terrain, the fairways vary in width and some are tree lined. The layout of Birchwood Golf Course emphasizes shot making and short game play, rather than power and distance.
