The Lodge's Valentine's Day BUBBLES EVENT (Champagne/Sparkling Wines Tasting & 3 Course Meal) is a great opportunity to re-connect with your "someone special" and friends.
$35 + tax per person includes bubbly, meal, and admission to live music event following. Advance reservation required. Space is limited, so be sure to call in soon, if you haven't yet.
The "Bubbles" event starts at 5:30 pm in The Lodge's 1200 Place, with seating at 8 person banquet tables. Scott Lindman, sommelier, will introduce the featured "bubbles" and will answer attendee's questions. His passion for & knowledge of wines combined with his approachable, fun personality should make this event memorable for all!
Dinner Details:
- Riondo Prosecco (Italy) served with baby greens, Italian cheese and baguettes
- Argyle Brut (Sparkling Wine from Oregon) served with Thai sesame shrimp appetizer (made in martini shaker and presented in martini glasses)
- Haton Brut NV (Champagne) served with Free Range Chicken in French hard cider and country fresh vegetables
- Dessert will feature a chocolate fountain extravaganza!
Immediately following the wine tasting, "LIVE at The Lodge" (7:30 - 10:30 p.m.) in the fireside lobby features jazz trio, Nancy Harms -vocalist, Russ Peterson-sax, & Jordan Christianson- piano.
Worth noting, Nancy Harms' new album, "In The Indigo", was just recognized in the top 10 local albums by TCCT(Twin Cities Critics Tally). Also, On 1/1/10, The Mpls Star & Tribune called Nancy, "the brightest new star of the twin cities Jazz Scene". Cover is $5 at the door (waived for event attendees & hotel guests).
