The grounds at BEST WESTERN PREMIER The Lodge on Lake Detroit slope gently to our 500 foot lake front. Enjoy swimming or sunbathing on our private 150 foot-wide private sandy beach. Launch your boat at the public launch only two blocks from The Lodge, and dock at our private dock and landing.

During summer, The Lodge will offer paddle boats, canoes and kayaks. Need a boat? We recommend J&K Marina on Little Lake Detroit (connected to Big Detroit Lake) for power boat rentals. Call 800-774-BOAT to reserve your boat.

Enjoy fishing from the dock, shore or boat in summer.. but don't forget you can walk out on the lake in winter to enjoy ice fishing. The Lodge on Lake Detroit is your year-round Minnesota vacation destination.
