Carol Ledeboer Johnson

Carol Ledeboer has been employed by The Lodge providing easy listening grand piano music as “Ivory Perfume” for the past years, and has now combined talents with Sophie Thiel. Carol has performed in the Detroit Lakes area as a single show or as a duo called “The Gypsies”. In addition, Carol is a professional preschool teacher and has been engaging young children in dance, music and books with a show called “Miss Pockets.” The show provides for children a fun way toward literacy through music and sound effects.

Carol resides with her husband in Rushford MN during the winter months and spends summers here in the DL area. Her father and son Nate live in the Fargo-Moorhead area which is Carol’s original home. Nate works at the Hotel Donaldson and is an accomplished musician and painter.

On a chance visit to Ottertail Village, Carol heard Sophie singing in the Creamery Coffeehouse and this connection has led to Sophie being featured vocalist with Carol’s accompaniment including keyboard, piano and violin. Sophie is currently finishing a music video of her own composition, and now her original songs will be performed with Carol as accompanist.

Join us and hear the “Fragrant Melodies” of “Ivory Perfume featuring Sophie Thiel” at The Lodge on August 15 from 5-8 pm!
